The group’s core are vocalists Tara Nevins, who plays fiddle, guitar, accordion, and scrubboard, and guitarist Jeb Puryear. Bryan Greenberg from HBO’s “How to Make it in America”

Bryan Greenberg, star of HBO’s “How to Make it in America” comes to Nashville to share some new tunes of his upcoming album at 3rd and Lindsley Bar and Grill on Thur 12/16 at 7pm. Tickets available now here.

In 2007, Bryan Greenberg released his debut album, Waiting for Now. Over the past few years he has toured with Gavin Degraw, Michael Tolcher, Ari Hest, and Graham Colton. At his New York City Show at the High Line Ballroom, Greenberg was joined by “How to Make it in America” co-star, Kid Cudi. Greenberg has had his songs placed in many of his film and television work, including “One Tree Hill”, “October Road”, “Nobel Son” and more. In 2008 he appeared in the Will.I.Am version of Barack Obama’s “Yes We Can. “

The small screen is where he’s currently making the most buzz—his HBO drama-comedy series “How To Make It In America” airs its second season this spring. The series, executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, follows two twenty-something fashion designers trying to hustle their way to the top of the NYC fashion scene—one of whom is Greenberg, an NYU grad who himself had to hustle his way around as an up-and-coming actor, working multiple jobs while auditioning for roles in his first years there.

It seems that juggling multiple gigs suits him; in the midst of all his acting jobs, he continues to work on his music as well. Bryan recently completed work on his second record, We Don’t Have Forever, which is scheduled for release in January of 2011 and features a collaboration with “How to Make It In American” co-star, Kid Cudi.
